Description

This tool is made for the removal and installation of firing pins in Lee Enfield No1 and No4 rifles. It is made of 4140 tool steel, heat treated to RC40. The fingers have been fitted to suit the majority of firing pins you’ll encounter but the fact of the matter is that the tolerances on the recesses in the firing pins are all over the place. If you encounter a firing pin where the fingers don’t fit, you could file them a little to suit or send the bolt/firing pin/tool to us to sort out and return

Typically we offer an unconditional lifetime guarantee on tools, but this is definitely one that can break or wear out. If the striker is bent or really stuck in the cocking piece no matter how good the tool it’ll break. In this case, if the tool breaks or gets damaged we will recut the fingers at no cost one time, if you send it back with a reply paid envelope or bring it to our workshop.
